Mobile Digital Video Recorder - VMM 4/30 - 160

The VMM 4/30 - 160 Mobile Digital Video Recorder runs on an embedded Linux operating system and records up to eight channels of audio/video. The design of the VMM 4/30 - 160 includes a rugged, shock-resistant & temperature tolerant case which enables the system to withstand the rigors of vehicular use. The system can record continuously when the vehicles ignition is on to ensure that no video is missed or erased. Advanced MPEG-4 compression allows for long recording times at superior quality with settings for continuous or event mode. An easy to use on-screen menu provides quick search and playback with advanced tools for transmission or duplication of recordings by networking, USB, or Compact Flash Card. The VMM 4/30 includes two video outputs for viewing security or advertising video inside the vehicle. The integrated GPS option embeds the speed and vehicle location onto the video frames to provide essential evidence. The VMM 4/30 is constructed with a detachable design so the unit can be taken to a PC Docking Station.
